For millennia our architecture, science, art, dance, music, beauty regimens, and literature have been beyond its time. So much so that to this day, our heritage & culture has influenced almost every aspect of life as we know it.

We come from a legacy of pioneers, traders, travelers, artisans and innovators. And our wonderful diaspora continue to do this as our people continue to span to every corner of the world -- contributing positively to every society we are in, and continuing our people's prerogative to always excel through knowledge, education and experience.

We have faced so much turmoil in our history (a history that has long been denied to be spoken of), but our history has also taught us we are resilient, and our quiet hard work should not be mistaken for submission! If history has also proven anything, together we are stronger, and undeniable champions of change.

This is why Om Home exists – to uplift and share the amazing work of South Asians, specifically focusing on beauty, where we have so much to offer, but the opportunities have been restricted.

Geographic Availability

South Asians represent the largest, most dispersed diaspora in the world – with millions spread across every continent in the world. However, South Asian beauty brands are still largely inaccessible to this diaspora, and require the support of friends or family that can purchase and deliver it to them on their behalf.  

How Om Home helps: We aim to bring amazing South Asian beauty brands from across the world to consumers that are also located around the world. With every passing month, we aim to bring on more and more brands.

Simplified Shopping Experience

The vast majority of South Asian brands exclusively sell via their own websites i.e. not through any retailer. This unfortunately has led to the customer needing to hop between sites to find information, compare brands and products, and then make their final purchase.  Which also ultimately means multiple tracking numbers and no centralization of the shopping experience.

How Om Home helps: We aim to create a one-stop shop for the world’s most beautiful South Asian beauty brands. We want to create an experience where customers no longer need to create countless orders across countless sites with countless tracking numbers.

Representation & Inclusion

Let the numbers speak for themselves.

Did you know the average number of South Asian beauty brands stocked in US retailers is less than 2%?

You may ask yourself -- Is there just not that many South Asian beauty brands out there? Do South Asian beauty brands not want to be in retailers? The answer: No! At present, there are a few hundred South Asian beauty brands in existence, but retailers seem to frequently deprioritize bringing these brands onto their portfolio. Considering the vast majority of South Asian beauty brands originate outside of Western countries, this limits opportunities for South Asian brands, which ultimately is a major loss for US consumers.
